Paula Danby lives in Paducah and has been a painter for forty years. She began at the local community college known at the time as Paducah Community College, and then later attended Murray State University.

She works in both oil and acrylic paints, and incorporates self portraiture into most of her works. She has been in a multitude of juried exhibitions, and has had a number of solo shows as well.
