Little Landscapes with Jannette Parent
Come play, explore and find joy in painting mini acrylic abstract landscapes. Without using a brush, we’ll finger-paint, scratch, scribble, scrape and sand our canvases to reveal deep texture and interest. Working quickly and intuitively, we’ll finish two 4″x4″ paintings by the end of the class. Set your self-judgement aside and discover a different approach to your creative expression. Whatever stage of your creative journey you’re in, and whether you’re looking for a fresh painting perspective or just want to play, this class will inspire and ignite you.
Sunday, October 15th from 11am – 2pm

Jannette grew up in Southern Oregon and graduated from Pacific Northwest School of Art and Design. She’s worked as a window displayer, automotive painter, picture framer, interior designer, muralist, graphic designer, art teacher, and a general art store know-it-all. While performing these jobs, she’s lived in Oregon, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Florida, and now Kentucky. “Each of these experiences have shaped and formed me into the artist I have become, while giving me a more panoramic view of people and art.” Jannette is now a full-time studio artist and a yoga/fitness instructor.
