KENTUCKY FIBERS: Carrying Tradition Forward

Join us for an exploration into Fibers at Yeiser Art Center with Executive Director, Lexie Millikan, Michelle Amos, Executive Director at the Little Loomhouse (Louisville, KY), and Robin Verson, Owner of Hill & Hollow Farm (Edmonton, KY). Millikan, Amos, and Verson’s background in and love for textiles will be the backdrop for an informative weekend at Yeiser Art Center’s historic downtown Paducah gallery.

Workshop participants will learn the natural dye process before weaving a small table runner in a traditional weaving pattern, on a foot powered loom. Beginners are welcome and encouraged. The workshop is designed for adults.
