I want to thank all the staff at Yeiser Art Center and especially Lexie Millikan for having me as a judge on Fantastic Fibers!

It was difficult to select the works of art presented by the artists and I would like to sincerely thank all of them for sharing their art with us. You were all really great, you expressed a very high level, we had to, reluctantly, exclude someone.

The selected works have given life to an exhibition that will be a pleasure to enjoy calmly, the works represent the expression of the intimate and visitors will be able to enter into harmony with the souls of each artist.

Spend some time looking, finding the details and imagining how the artist worked with dedication and love to create her work.

In the selection I made I tried to give space to different techniques and languages, artists from different parts of the world, using various materials, present us with a rich and varied panorama of the art of using fibers of different nature.

It is an honor for me to have given my contribution to this prestigious event, Paducah is a wonderful city and Fantastic Fibers could not have a better venue!

Fyodor Dostoevsky said: “Beauty will save the world” then Fantastic Fibers has given its contribution to this salvation, because what excites us, gives us positive sensations and connects us spiritually, helps us to improve, individually and as a community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors who help make this exhibition possible.
